چکیده
Course Description As the name suggests this subject introduces students to the basic concepts of English grammar. It begins with the issues in the basic sentence constructions, followed by the discussions on elements of sentences. Lectures and discussions will continue to review the topics on word-classes (nouns and verbs), noun expansions (heads, dependents, and adjectives), linking words (prepositions and coordinations), etc. The subject will conclude by looking at the ways how the knowledge of English grammar can be applied in more practical contexts.
